The Mater Dei High School Alumni Association is an organization that facilitates alumni relations and provides support to Mater Dei High School. Mater Dei has more than 5,000 alumni, and the alumni association is their communication and information link to the school.

Highlights of the alumni association’s programs include:

• The Michael Lawless Scholarship was established in memory of a 1973 graduate. The scholarship offers tuition support to needy Mater Dei students.
• An annual golf outing and picnic raises money to maintain and grow the Michael Lawless Scholarship fund.
• The annual Mater Dei Hall of Fame dinner. Established in 1996, the Hall of Fame honors the school’s outstanding athletes, as well as recognized alumni with exceptional professional or civic achievements.
