Mater Dei was built in the 1960's through the generosity and support of a generation of families who believed in the importance of a faith-based education for their children.  They answered Monsignor Bulman's call to build a Catholic high school in St. Mary's Parish, and they worked with him to fulfill his vision.  Those families invested in the future of their children - and students throughout Monmouth County - by ensuring that Mater Dei was here for them when it was time for high school.  Their planning and preparation resulted in a vibrant and dynamic academic institution that has provided students with an outstanding and challenging education for more than 40 years.

Annual Fund Appeal

Mater Dei faculty, staff and administrators strive to make every effort to be a Culture of Personal Best. It has been so successful in years past because of the kind and generous support of family, friends and our alumni.

The Annual Fund Appeal helps Mater Dei close the gap between the tuition our students pay to attend the school and the real "per pupil" cost to educate our students.  It is the foundation of all giving at Mater Dei, and your contribution makes a critical difference to the school.   

Consider these numbers: in 1968, Mater Dei tuition cost $250; in 1998, tuition was $4,500; today our students’ tuition is $8,950. Tuition and fees do not cover the true costs of providing our students with a high quality faith-based education in a supportive environment that nurtures success; in order for our educational programs to remain competitive, we need your help.

We ask that you show your support of Mater Dei by giving the following three gifts:

A gift of prayer - offer a daily prayer for the realization of Mater Dei's mission and long range vision.
A gift of involvement - give your time and wisdom to Mater Dei. They are priceless assets to our school and it's students.
A gift of financial participation - today we ask that you simply Give THE Year! Whether it's $20,090, $2,009,  $200.09 or $20.09, your participation at any level will help us successfully bridge the gap for 2009 - 2010. EVERY gift is significant.

TD Bank Affinity Program

If you have an account (or open an account) at  TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank), they will make a contribution to Mater Dei in your name.  Based on the average balance in your TD Bank accounts (Checking, Saving, Money Market, CD and Retirement Accounts), the bank will make an annual donation to Mater Dei. 

Donations are calcuated at 1/2% on Checking balances and 1/4% on Savings balances.  Your accounts are NOT affected in any way by the Affinity Program - it costs you nothing to support Mater Dei as you do your regular banking! 

Ask to have your TD Bank accounts - personal or business - included in the Mater Dei Affinity Program.  If you open a new account at TD Bank, ask to have that account linked to the Affinity Program. 

There is no limit to the number of accounts that be in the program or the number of people participating - please tell your friends and family about this easy way to support Mater Dei!

Mater Dei Commerative Paver Program

Support the continuing renovation of Monsignor Bulman Stadium by buying a commerative paver!  All pavers will be installed in a memorial garden inside the stadium.
