The overall goal of the Mater Dei High School Student Services Department is to help students recognize their full potential and to assist them in reaching it.  With the assistance of the Student Services Program, students evaluate their strengths and weaknesses so that they may successfully meet the challenge that will be presented to them.

Each student will be assigned to a counselor for the 2007-2008 school year.  Conferences between the student and the counselor will be held periodically.  A student or parent may request a conference at any time.  Parents are encouraged to arrange appointments by calling the Student Services Offices at 732-671-9182.

 

Information services are an important component of any Student Services program.  Programs for Juniors and their parents will be held in the spring/summer.  Various materials are maintained in the Student Services Office to assist students and parents with post-secondary planning.

 

Student Services are available throughout the day.  Students wishing appointments may register with the Student Services Secretary.  Passes will be issued through homerooms.
